Vintage Photos from Otto Schweisgut's books featuring Tyrolian Haflingers from the 1950's and 1960's

These are a few of the treasured photos from Mr. Otto Schweisgut's books published in Austria in 1957, 1961 and 1965 featuring the Tyrolian Haflinger at that time.  Mr. Schweisgut and his family have documented the history of the Haflinger breed in a number of books over the last 60 years including more recent editions available from http://www.tyrol.com/haflinger . This family continues their dedication to ensure the Haflinger will have much more history to record in the future, and we are all indebted to their lasting passion for this breed. These photos, far more than words, tell us what is truly special and unique about the Haflinger.
