Born on July 14 th 1975 in Austria. She has been living in the middle of France since 1977 at H.Chalier’s and has travelled a lot but now she is retired. This photo was taken in January 2007

 Gucci (Alex M&B x Goldstar M&B).  Her DOB is 6/29/86.  She was purchased as a yearling from M&B Farms.  The woman who purchased her, decided to board her at my parents’ house.  It wasn’t long before she was my best friend and my parents purchased her for me.  She has been with me ever since and is the best horse in the world!  Sarah Perine, California

Starfire, aka "Mikey." (Stanza M&B x Siwa). Mikey was born on May 12, 1985 and raised on Folenhof Farm in Vernon, BC. He spent the first decade of his life as a lesson horse in the summer riding camps at Folenhof. At age 13 (perhaps it is an unlucky number), he was pulled out of semi-pasture-retirement to live forevermore at Nayborly Farms in Washington State. As we loaded Mikey up to go to his new life, we were fatefully told that he "has a sense of humor." Well, that we were to discover! Mikey knows that "the good die young" and has every intention of living to 40... Need I say more? There's little that this pony hasn't done or been asked to do, and unfortunately age doesn't seem to slow him down in the slightest (he has been mistaken for a five year old on several occasions). But we love him for all that he is (and isn't), and look forward to all the inevitable laughs that he will provide in the future.  Chesna Klimek, Washington

As older (50+) beginner riders, we had several very bad experiences before getting our Haflingers. We almost gave up on getting involved with horses altogether. Then Madra and Aramis came to us in May 2005. Madra was thought to be one of the tallest Haflingers in the US in her day! She is elegant, “most beautiful” (that’s one of her nicknames) and she been mother to 10 foals over the years. Aramis was used for jumping, vaulting, driving, therapy, trails and more. His nickname is “Hair-A-Mess”. These horses have brought us so much joy and have helped us on our way to becoming better horsemen. They are calm, gentle, inquisitive and funny. The came as a set, as they have been together for 16+ years (almost as many as we have been together!) and we look forward to spending many years with them as we take our lessons, trail ride and horse camp. All 4 of us are enjoying our senior status! We will all grow older together. We have been blessed that these horses are in our lives.

Amika  is now 21. He is sired by Anders and out of Michelle born in 1984 in Northville, New York. I started showing him when he was 5, my little brother continued, and now he's been "home" with us for 6 years, playing the calm horse for my kids (I say "playing" because he is still plenty hot, remembering his show horse days!) and owning a big piece of my heart. :)

My Haflinger's   name is Winchester Jackpot. He is a fresh 20 year old and I ride him in Barrel Racing and other timed events. He actually does pretty well! We were one second away from qualifying for state! Jordyn Tyrholm
